Colin brings more than forty years of diverse technology experience to Transition IT from a broad range of industry, government, education, and non-profit organizations. He has specialized in building and directing complex information technology systems and training environments throughout the world. Colin has served clients in the Training, Healthcare, Insurance, Manufacturing, Education, Retail, and Media industries as well as not-for-profit organizations where he has led infrastructure development, eCommerce, enterprise software implementation, security, disaster recovery, data-center migration, virtualization, and multi-location voice and data convergence projects.
Colin is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut and holds both Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
A resident of San Diego for the past 25 years, Colin lives in North County with his wife and sons. Colin is a member of and was named the 2011 vice-chairman of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee and chairs the Education subcommittee. He also formerly served on the technology advisory board of the San Diego Center for Children. He is active in a number of social services organizations and non-profit boards in San Diego County.
